read... I actually passed you in the 1st group we ran when you were still a n00b on the track, but let's DQ that one.. ;) I see Sacto up ahead as I dive into turn 2 (like he said, I wasn't in his run group so I had to wait in the que of overflow cars). He was motoring pretty well, and I had some traffic to deal with. I'm a few cars back as we approach 5, and I see him "shaking his fist" - I thought he was pumping up like "look at me go" and I was laughing... I followed him for a bit, watching him "pump his fist"... we go through the corkscrew (I wish the camera guy got a pic of that), and I ride him in the most friendly of ways through 9 and 10, to 11. We take the 90-degree right hander, and head down the dragstrip. I LIFT off the throttle to get next to him - take a quick look as we go equal speeds (come on Sacto, you were on it!), and I wave, gas it, and dive into 2. It was a funny site I'm sure, seeing our two cars come up towards start/finish side-by-side... good times... What Sacto didn't tell you was that I passed him ON THE WAY to the track... doing the same thing... that makes it scott 2, Sacto 1 (from the Thunderhill event where he passed me when I was in the MINI).
